Comments on April draft specification

# David Flanagan (16 years ago)

The attached are comments through section 10 of the April draft.

Some of it is miscellaneous suggestions for improvement in text that already exists in the ES3 spec, and I understand that you might not want to get too deep into those weeds this time around...

There are also some more substantive comments and corrections on the new stuff (especially section 10).

I'll try to review the rest of the spec as time allows, but I wanted to get this first batch of comments sent off today.

Here's another comment: the email address ES5-feedback at ecma-international.org that appears on the cover of the "final draft" specification for ES5 is inoperative.

I misspelled it on my first attempt to send comments there, but a second attempt, with misspelling corrected, also bounced.

I think that should probably just be changed to <es5-discuss at mozilla.org>.

I have asked Ecma staff to correct the problem.
